La cuadrilla. The nativity scene at "La Naval"

We resume the tradition of La Naval's Christmas nativity scene, with my interpretation of a cuadrilla, a small folkloric group of typical popular musicians from Campo de Cartagena (and the rest of the region), who are especially active at Christmas with their pascuas songs, aguilandos and carols. This heterodox gang, a band apart, is related to all kinds of popular artifacts (from Japanese kokeshi to Nordic crafts) or playful (Alexander Girard dolls, Bauhaus or Torres García toys), and part of recycling as a basic premise. Here the legs of my great-grandmother's bed meet the wedges of the canvases, sewing objects with disused frames, celebrating the birth and regeneration of each new year, Christian tales and traditions, and the party, the color, the bottle of anisette and the guitar, the cordiales and the polvorones, the peterpans and tinkerbelles.
A parenthesis in the middle of the battle.
